Men fleeced of money by women offering sex
TWO friends who tried to engage the services of sex workers ended up being robbed by men believed to be their accomplices, Berita Harian reported.
The friends, aged 26 and 25, came to Kuantan for a holiday and stayed the night at a budget hotel.
They received a call in their hotel room from a man who offered them the service of sex workers.
After meeting two women and agreeing to pay each of them RM100 for sex, they went back to the hotel room. However, the women went out on the pretext of buying drinks.
Five minutes later, three men burst into the friends’ room and beat them before robbing them of their handphones and RM400.
Pahang CID officer ASP Noor Asyikin Shamsuri said the victims, who lodged a police report, managed to keep one of the sex worker’s MyKad as “insurance” when they went out to buy drinks.
In a follow-up operation, a 24-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man were arrested later that night outside a shopping complex.
